The flagship store at the Bayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich opened in 2022 and showcases Charlotte Lynggaard's flair for art, design and furnishings alongside beautiful jewelry.
Largest jewelry manufacturer in Northern Europe, royal purveyor to the court, six flagship stores in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Munich, Paris and Sydney - these are just a few keywords that show that OLE LYNGGAARD COPENHAGEN has long been one of the greats of the fine jewelry industry.
The family business was founded in 1963 by Ole Lynggaard, who was already gifted at drawing as a child. After a five-year trip around the world, the trained goldsmith returned to his native Copenhagen in 1963 with countless inspirations and a zest for action, where he immediately founded his eponymous brand. His designs were well received from the start, and the brand has grown steadily over the past 60 years. Ole's daughter Charlotte has been creative director and lead designer since 1987. With her daughter Sofia already working on her first collection, the third generation is waiting in the wings. To this day, 145 goldsmiths produce the majority of the jewelry in the family's own workshops in Hellerup, a small town just outside Copenhagen. From there, they travel the world: delighted customers, celebrities and journalists worldwide often eagerly await the latest jewelry pieces, whose designs are influenced primarily by nature and the Lynggaard's bohemian lifestyle.
The flagship store at the Bayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich opened in 2022 and showcases Charlotte Lynggaard's flair for art, design and furnishings in addition to beautiful jewelry pieces. As in every flagship store of the brand, there is also a piece of art in Munich that Charlotte designed especially for the store.
