For over 30 years - and since 1998 from his adopted country, the Netherlands - Ramon Valle has been one of the most important ambassadors of modern piano jazz with Cuban influences. The rhythms and musical colors of his homeland are the foundation for Valle's restless search for new melodies, structures and sounds of narrative jazz. He has already played in all formations from solo piano to big band and large orchestra. However, he comes to the nightclub with the line-up he has preferred since his breakthrough with the ACT label at the beginning of the millennium: “The trio is perfect for me. It's like three friends going out on the town, all going from A to B, but each on their own path.” With outstanding and long-standing companions such as bassist Omar Rodriguez Calvo, who many also know from the Tingvall Trio or Triosence, nothing can go wrong.
