The Italian jazz pianist and singer Francesca Tandoi studied at the renowned Royal Conservatory in The Hague and at the University of the Arts in Rotterdam and achieved international recognition even before her Master's degree with distinction. She is now celebrated by critics and colleagues as one of the most fascinating young talents on the international jazz scene. The great Monty Alexander, among others, was downright enthusiastic about her debut album: “Francesca Tandoi is an extremely tasteful swing pianist. Her singing is exquisite, her compositions memorable and her arrangements extremely well thought out.” Since then, Tandoi has worked with many international greats including Scott Hamilton, Owen Hart Jr, Daryll Hall, Darius Brubeck, Marjorie Barnes and many others. Last year she was invited by Michael League to perform with Snarky Puppy at the Umbria Jazz Festival. Above all, however, Tandoi has already released seven albums of her own in her preferred trio line-up. She is now presenting her latest “Bop Web” at her Munich debut at the Bayerischer Hof nightclub.
